This excursion takes place in littoral environment, in the southeast coast.

It is a path that leads to unfamiliar corners of territory because reachable only on foot or by sea. We start from the small village of Capo Ferrato to reach the lighthouse, in a very suggestive position and lonely. From here we continue north towards an old pier of war period and we reach a series of small coves along a coast both rocky  and sandy, until reach  “la Baia delle Anfore” and “Bruncu de sa Figu“ , with its imposing and spectacular wall of columnar basalt, a witness Tertiary Period of volcanic events .

MOUNTAIN BIKE

SOLANAS: FROM THE PROMONTORY TO THE ROCKY HILLS

The first part of our tour in mountain bike, spreads over dirt and secondary roads with slight slope.

During the second phase, along the coast, we will cross only on rough trails and mule tracks.

For a few yards you will need to push the bike walking. This is the only alternative to admire a stretch of coastline that has been saved from the invasion of cars.

During our tour, we will admire very suggestive of areas such as the mouth of the river and the pond Picocca Feraxi and Torre Salinas.
