DISCOVER THE BEST SPOTS AND THE IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS

kite surf

CAGLIARI POETTO

WIND: Sirocco and Levante (wind fromrthe east) are the most frequent. On-shore wind and waves. Very nice south-west, side side-on right tack sometimes with beautiful waves. It is often gusty.

QUARTU SANT'ELENA - POETTO BEACH

WIND: Sirocco and east are the most frequent. Wind on-shore slightly from the left side and a little ' ciop. Libeccio (warm wind from the south -west) comes clean side-on tack to the right and is perhaps the best wind of the spot. Sometimes it also comes with the west but it is often very gusty. Even with strong wind from the sea is difficult to make waves and this makes it suitable spot for beginners.

GEREMEAS

WIND: The Mistral goes well, but only when it is pure or with a tendency in the West. As soon as there is a slight tendency to become very gusty north so as to thwart completely for a few seconds the first 100 meters. The bay is not particularly large and the wind is often strong and gusty. Spot not suitable for beginners. VILLASIMIUS CAMPULONGU - WIND: West wind always enters decided quite easily and accelerates up to 20 knots and often is a bit gusty. Login slightly from right and waveform unordered. Warm wind from the south -west clean enough but instead goes straight from the sea. COSTA REI - WIND: Its is always in the Northeast, from left, enters always enough and decided accelerates easily. Also good north wind , side / off from the left that regulates the waves , good for surfing . The east and south side on the first and second coming straight from the sea as well but will not accelerate beyond that expected and the wave is often a bit too confusing. The south side instead of starboard tack comes in and if it comes after a sirocco clean waves and regulates but is often gusty.

CHIA (DOMUS DE MARIA)

WIND: Grecale (strong wind from the north- east) is the sidewalls on the left and the form of discrete waves to ride. The east too and often enough to cross but the resulting wave is larger but also less tidy. From the south side on, but it's definitely less ordered only when a disturbance enters strong and determined enough. The Libeccio (warm wind from the south -west) is a bit rare, arrives on port tack to the right side and raises some good waves. West side / off, two stories, one of the summer heat, gusty close to the ground but spectacular off from the island. During the winter, the atmospheric disturbance engenders waves of almost 3 meters. Unfortunately, the latter condition, however, and not suited to the kite as the wind and current carry out during the winter and there is no assistance to the sea. The Mistral comes very decided and side door off to the right. Here, too, the same discourse of the west exit is not recommended in winter.
