An original guided tour through the streets of Mamoiada to discover the most important workshops: we will visit the shop of the mask maker, the bakery of the carasau bread and a local cannonau cellar.
Mamoiada is known for its archaic carnival, characterized by the mysterious Mamuthones.
Their wooden masks are made by local artisans following traditional processing techniques.
We will visit the workshop of one of them, who will show you the different stages of woodworking.
The Carasau bread is one of the most popular products of Mamoiada: it is still prepared at home and cooked in a wood oven. We will take you to
visit an oven, where we will discover the magic of bread, attending the various stages of preparation and cooking of the carasau and tasting it freshly baked.
The winery is the magical place where the grapes are transformed into wine: accompanied by a wine producer, we will observe all the necessary equipment to make wine, then we will
see where it is stored in large barrels. The visit ends with a wine tasting.
