The tour starts at 9:15 am from the station of Bosa Marina, in the centre west of Sardinia.
During the first part of the ride, we will admire the coastline of Bosa. The train continues its run slowly climbing on the exciting curves of the hills
surrounding Bosa in a succession of landscapes dominated by the famous vineyards of Malvasia.
Then we will reach the station of Tresnuraghes, where we will taste the famous local wine accompanied by fragrant sweets.
At the end of the tasting the train continues its run along the plateau penetrating in areas marked by the ancient pastoral tradition.
After the village of Sindia, the train will stop near the ancient abbey of St. Mary, where we will visit the ruins of the monastery complex dated to 1147 and
considered one of the oldest in Europe.
We will arrive by train to Macomer, the capital of Marghine, and here, immersed in the atmosphere of an old nineteenth-century house, we will visit the
Ethnographic Museum " The Ancient Arts " with a collection of tools used and forged by the skilled hands of master craftsmen.
We will taste local products such as Carasau bread, sausages, bacon, dry ricotta, cream cheese, all acompagned with an excellent local red wine.
We will return to Bosa by coach.
