The heel Perda Liana is a "base" of Mesozoic limestone, remnant of the old carbonate age of the central-eastern Sardinia.

Many historical facts and legends are associated with this training, recognized as a Natural Monument, full of charm and emanating of a strong power of attraction since ancient times, when local people came together to his base to arrange marriages, do business and celebrate magical and religious rites. 

Perda Liana is a place of great naturalistic importance both from the geological point of view, that from botanical fauna. 

We reach the tower along a nice trail of charcoal burners, which offers several panoramic views, and the possibility of close encounters with the mouflons, that inhabit these areas.

The return itinerary reserves us a nice experience: we cross a stretch of primary forest, that is trees ever cut by man, real natural masterpieces. 

It's possible to doing the excursion all year, since the hight (about 1000 m) allows the journey even in the summer, in particular during we recommend the night excursion in the days around the full moon, an absolutely fascinating and exciting experience.
